Thrie-Beam Guardrails are a type of guardrail system with three alignment, w-shaped steel beams supported by posts and blocked at the two sides to form a continuous structure. It is mainly used for median and side barrier on highways, pedestrian, and roadside safety barriers. It is designed to absorb more energy from impact and provide better protection than traditional W-beam guardrail. Additionally, Thrie-Beam Guardrails have distinct advantages over other guardrail systems, such as weight savings due to reduced material compared to W-beam guardrail. It is also easier to install since the rails come pre-assembled in sections, so it requires less labor time.
